CHRISTMAS ORDERING RELATED TERMS & CONDITIONS
- DEPOSIT ITEMS
When ordering selected Turkeys, Turkey Butterflies & Geese you are only charged for an approximated 50% deposit, the balance of these items will be paid on collection/delivery. You will be charged as per the actual weight of the item, estimates are given at the time of ordering but may be higher or lower than this approximate figure.
- CHRISTMAS ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
You must call is on 01642 559 191 if you wish to cancel your order, please note that your order is only confirmed as cancelled when you receive a direct email from Blackwell’s. Cancel before 1st December and we can offer you a 100% refund, Cancellation between 1st and 12th December will be eligible for a 50% refund, we will not offer refunds after midnight 12th December.
- DELIVERY/COLLECTION SLOT
At the time of ordering you have either chosen a delivery/collection slot. For those who are collecting from our Blackwell’s shop please ensure you come at the time and day you selected. If you are unable to make your collection time please call us 24 hours in advance on 01642 559 191 and we will do our best to accommodate an alternative collection time.
Please make sure you arrive on the day & time you have selected at the time of ordering and detailed on your confirmation receipt. Please adhere to Government guidelines which may be in place at the time of collection (e.g. wearing a mask)
- Arrive at the main door on your collection day & within your collection timeslot
- Check in – one of our team will be at the front of the shop checking in orders, once you have had your ordered checked in please join the queue and wait to be served by one of the shop team.
- Provide your server with your name for your order
- Pick up any additional items you may need
- We will be more than happy to help you carry orders to your car just ask.
GENERAL ORDERING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The quality of our products and the service we provide are paramount to us as a company. By shopping with us online you can expect the same high standards as our customers experience in the shop.
All our goods and services comply with all the standards required by relevant legislation. When shopping with us online, a Contract of Sale is made at the time we accept your order, and the contract shall be under English law. By confirming your order on the website, you accept these terms and conditions.
- DELIVERY ARRANGEMENTS
All our delivery orders are transported in insulated boxes with ice packs to keep the products to the correct temperature in transit. We use a national courier who is experienced in delivering food & perishable goods and our local deliveries are delivered on our own fleet all approved for food delivery. All our national/local deliveries must be delivered or left in safe place. No orders can return to the depot for collection at a later date. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the delivery can be successfully completed on the date requested. If not at the address when the delivery is scheduled a safe place must be provided.
You may opt to collect your order in person from our shop, in which case it will be available for you on the time and date chosen at the checkout process. Goods not collected within one working day after they are available for collection will be disposed of, and the order deemed complete. No refunds can be made for uncollected orders.
- PACKAGING FOR DELIVERY
You may rest assured we have taken great care to ensure your goods arrive in perfect condition. Most of your meat will be vacuum packed in a food-safe polythene pouch before being carefully placed in one of our insulated boxes with ice packs to keep the produce at the correct temperature.
- ACCEPTABLE WEIGHT VARIATION
When you place your order, it will be for a nominal weight of produce, at a specified price. We will collect the payment via the payment method you select when placing the order. Because orders are individually prepared, it can be expected that there may be some small variation in weights above or below the weight you choose, and it is impractical for us to request additional payments or process small refunds. We will ensure that this variation never exceeds more or less than 10% of any item specified. Items delivered within 10% of the weight ordered shall be deemed complete.
- UNFULFILLED ORDERS
Because of the seasonal nature of some of our produce and limited supply, it is possible that from time to time, we may be unable to fulfil some orders. If your order is for one specific joint or meal item we will let you know as quickly as possible, within one working day of you placing the order, and offer alternative produce or cancellation at your discretion. In the event of us having to cancel, we will make an immediate and full refund of any monies paid.
- GUARANTEE OF SATISFACTION
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the quality of the produce received, you should contact us within 24 hours of receipt. All complaints will be dealt with personally and immediately by a member of our team. Your statutory rights are not affected. We regret we are not able to accept returned goods or claims for goods ordered in error, due to their perishable nature.
We regret that due to the very short timescale involved in processing fresh meat orders, you cannot cancel or amend your order once it has been placed unless specifically agreed by ourselves. If the order has been dispatched then unfortunately we will not be in a position to cancel or amend your order.
- DATA PROTECTION
All personal data we collect from you will be used exclusively for the purposes of our relationship, to help us offer improved or new services to you, and may be stored on computer. Your details will be held securely, in confidence, and never disclosed to any third party without your express permission.
